Hello! I'm Dr. Theartis "Candy" Holmes, a seasoned addiction specialist with over 25 years of dedicated service in the field. My journey in this realm began with a Master of Arts degree earned from North Carolina Central University, which laid the foundation for my passion for aiding individuals battling addiction.
My academic pursuit continued with a profound focus on the spiritual dimensions of recovery, culminating in a Doctor of Religious Studies degree from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary. This provided me with invaluable insights into the intersection of faith and healing, enriching my approach to addiction treatment.
Furthermore, my commitment to understanding and combating addiction led me to pursue a Ph.D.-ABD from Capella University, specializing in Psychology with a focus on Addictions. While the journey to completion remains ongoing, the knowledge and expertise gained thus far have been instrumental in refining my practice and enhancing outcomes for those I serve.
As a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), I am dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals and families grappling with addiction. My multidimensional approach, blending academic rigor with empathy and understanding, allows me to meet each person where they are on their journey to recovery.
As a Certified Life Coach, I am dedicated in assisting in the development of one's skills to positively handle life changelles. My various approaches has assisted many in overcoming life difficulities.
